It may seem an impossible and daunting task, but you can work to implement changes that greatly advance women's rights.

It begins by educating yourselfBefore you can work to implement changes for women around the world, it is essential that you are an expert on the issues women face and why they occur. Stay informed by often reading our blog weekly and visiting our Resources tab.

Bring awarenessToo often, many are unaware of the injustices women are subjected to around the world. Once you've educated yourself, the next step is to educate others. You can do this by starting a blog or website, making a club at your school, hosting a movie night that shows a documentary or film addressing women's rights, organizing an assembly at your school, or holding a fundraiser within your community. Do anything that brings awareness to topics that have such great importance. It is key that your activity revolves around the concept of women's rights and goes beyond holding a bake sale or car wash drive. Seeing is believing, so using powerful but hard to watch images and videos are sure to drive the message home with others. Network yourself and contact foreign organizations and partner with them. Start petitions and write to representatives and foreign embassies demanding change for women everywhere. Support other organizations and advocates that work to advance women's rights by spreading their message as well.

SustainabilityIt is important to realize that issues surrounding women's rights will not be solved overnight. Progress may seem slow at times, but there will be change if you remain persistent. Do your best to continue to grow whatever project, club, etc. with which you are involved with and don't give up. Remember that women and girls everywhere need your help.
